Hello from New MK1 owner

Hello people!  
      My names Tom from Nottingham and i have recently bought my first mk1 after wanting one for as long as i can remember!
its a 1983 gti in lhasa green, it is currently a track car, the shell is absolutly solid and from driving it, i can say it pulls like a train!  BHP is roughly 150, car was built by my dads friend so i know it has been done properly.

I plan to get it back on the road as my daily driver and generally tidy her up, will make a progress thread soon,

Hi Tom and welcome to the club lets see some pics just wondering what they have done to get the BHP up to 150 I have a cabby with a TSR Donnington engine in which produces 140bhp wonder if you have one of them bolted in the front?
