Hello from London. Some help please on suspension

Hi. I have just joined and a little help on finding some original complete suspension front and rear would be great. I want to remove the silly lowering kit on my 1983 Mk1 GTi. I have new springs etc, but the original mounts and spacers etc that aren't made by VW aren't on the car.
Also if anyone from London reads this please let me know of any meets that happen. I'm in North London

Hi Dan,welcome to the club :-) Hopefully someone on here will know of a set available, or try ebay…..I had the same problem with my cabby, no original suspension just coil overs, I managed to get a complete original kit from FUNKSTAR on here, he may also be worth a shout.Another great seller on ebay is cilitkasmk1 - I have got loads of bits from him recently, he's also on here, not sure if his user name is the same as ebay……….Good luck mate!

I bought mine from AVS car parts - PM'd you the link.

I've researched the forums on here and for top mounts, the consensus seems to be to go for the Febi brand.
