Hello from Killburn, London

Hello there!

well… I am now a member of the mk1 club!

I bought this little number yesterday and am so so excited heres some pics

lets hope i figure out the right way to put pics up

the whole car needs a good clean really and after last nights thunderstorm i found out there is a little gap in the seals of the drivers door window letting rainwater into the passenger footwell, so thats my first little job to sort out!

I drove it home from west london through the city traffic and it pulled well in every gear, does idle a little low at times especially when first started up,  The engine looks a little grotty to me and could do with a clean up.  Does anyone know someone who could retune the carbs as i think it does need a little service!? Can anyone give me an idea where to start with this, I really haven't got a clue where to begin…

looks nice, all i would do is treat her to some bbs wheels and prey the rain stops..
