hello from hounslow, london
Hopefully this will change shortly, but in the meantime I thought I would drop a big hello to everyone here. Though I clearly lack any expertise and knowledge, this is an amazing website and its clear I can fully make use of the resources here…
When I bought it the interior was covered in mould, I think I have managed to clean it up but it came back when I cleaned it again last year. I have also found water sometimes in the rear left passenger footwell - but still I have no idea where it comes from. Also the electrics are unreliable (the brake light doesnt always turn on when you hit the brakes, radio doesnt work, etc). I am hoping I can sort these things out…

Check the drain holes in scuttle panel for blockages, these get clogged
up and water gets in through the heater blower area.
- open bonnet
- look just below the windscreen to the left and right, and there
the scuttle panel
3) pull them out and clean them / clear blockage.
Could be a leak else where, but thats a common cause.
Check the switch on the brake pedal for signs of wear / loose
connection/ fix or replace it.
Looks like a good project though, keep us posted
Best of luck
