Hi all I thought it was about time I said hello.  I’ve been hanging around for a while now looking at other peoples cars and being very impressed in the process. So this is me saying hello.

Hi sorry for the late reply ive been working 2-10 all week.
so a bit about myself. ive been into cars as long as i can remember. when i was younger i was big into my vauxhalls  (please dont judge i was young) this is one of my projects some of you might find intresting my astra gsi 4x4 project | Vauxhall Owners Forum

Ive worked for bentley motor in crewe for the last 15 years the last 4 of them as a quality control team leader so i like to think my standards are high but fair if you know what i mean. so the golf i have always wanted a mk1 golf and i new when i finally had a mk1 it would be a show/weekend car so the time had to be right to be able to run two cars at the same time. I decided 12 months ago the time was right now i new i didnt have time to build a car myself so i started looking for a complete  car. After viewing a few and not being impressed i saw that deutsche doktors in stoke had a few for sale and as they were only down the road i jumped in my car to take a look. once again i was not impressed with the cars they had for sale but they did say that they could build me one. so we had a sit down i explained to the what i wanted where i worked and what i wanted and the quality i wanted and i must say they did everything that i asked for. the main thing i wanted was a good solid shell and a half decent spray job anything else i could put right overtime we are dealing with parts that are 35 years old now. oh also at the same time they fitted a 1.8t 20v and for the money they have done a great job. so for the pics lets see if this works.

Very nice, I think white really suits the small bumper conversions.

Hey mate,

Welcome to the club, and thanks for the lift from the entrance to the stand - shame you couldn't put your foot down!

Good to talk to you, and hope to see you at some more shows!
