Hello from a newbie..
Just joined your great site as I'm looking to pick up a 1991 1.8 Clipper Cabrio soon and hope to get some advice on restoring it here. It will be keeping my daily driver company, a 2008 Mk5 GTi and joining a good list of VW's I've had before, the best being a 1.8 Scirroco GTX which I still regret selling!
I also wonder if anyone here has fitted 3 point seatbelts in the back of a Cabrio and could give me some tips on possible mounting points?
Many thanks!

Hi Mate,
I have a Mk1 cabrio and have asked the same question regarding seatbelts, I believe the quick answer is "You can't". There is no top point to mount a 3 point harness, however, I have seen racing style belts that mount on the rear cross member. I think thats the way I'm going to go with it although I am open to correction or ideas should any one have any!
