Hello fellow Mk1 golf owners out there!!
I purchased a Mk1 Golf Cab Auto 1980 here in Malaga, Spain Nov last year which had been abandond for more than 8yrs. This is my first restoration project!!!
Having owned a mk3 Golf Auto 1.8 Cabriolet i just love my dubs!!!!I had to sell that one though as it was very thirsty and with the crisis here in Spain well say no more!!! So now i drive a seat Ibiza 1.9D whilst restoring my dub.
Since Nov i have done quiet a lot of work on the car here is what it looks like today. 09/10/2012

When pasting your pics make sure you use the img code on photobucket this will show the pic in your post rather than link it. If its not showing up go to your profile settings and make sure the allow HTML settings is set to on.
Look forward to more pics. I did a how to on changing the ATF fluid in the gearbox it's in the running gear section near the top, it's a must do to good running of an auto.
Cheers
