Just thought i'd sign up, as i have been using this site to find a MK1. Ive had a couple Mk2s and currently a G40 in the garage which me and my dad are doing bits too. but I have finally bought a MK1, that i have been wanting forever! was even brought back from the hospital when i was born in a Mk1 that was my dads….So dubs are definantly in the blood  

so yeah, bought a MK1 Mars red 1983 GTi off a top bloke called Paul (thanks again if he's on here) lovely wagen and has had a lot of work mechanically done and feels very tight.

Will try and get some pics up once i have cleaned the hell out of it.

yea you can join and become a member it's £15 for the year and you get allsorts of members discounts from GSF, Cazyquiffs

yes, drive through Hemel & Berkhamsted often, sometimes in the Golf.
