Hello, Been drawn to the VW side!
Hi all,
I better admit it now, I've been a into Renaults for a while mainly R5s and currently driving a early mk1 Clio. I've got a mate with a Y-plate mark 1 Polo and its won me over! So I've been looking for a suitable V-Dub for myself (not into new cars, so it has to be old!).
Hopefully find something suitable soon, not after a GTi or softtop, just a sound standard Golf C would be nice!
Forum looks good, lets keep these bench-mark hatchbacks on the road! 8)

Hi and welcome, good luck with your search! I agree, you can still have fun in a Golf C! You won't be disappointed with an old VW - the parts are cheap, they're easy to work on yourself and compared to modern cars there's much less to go wrong anyway! Let us know how you get on.
