Hello, another newbie
I have a 86' cab in white and blue, its is/was the CC (coco channel edition). i have had for 8 years now and was passed on to from my dad who had it from new on the pretence i would look after it better than him!? (i dont live on a cliff side with salt rain). she has done a fair few miles javascript:emoticon(':?')around 270k but she is in good condition considering and relativily no problems over the years but i think that might have started to change.
Had it resprayed a few years back along with a new roof but all is looking very tired now. She is not very happy with no MOT and been ignored for to long. going for the test next week so at least she will be legal and she might start smiling again, followed by a new roof and maybe head gasket by the looks of it today. spent my time trying to keep her standard but i think that all might go out the window.
Forum on here looks great with lots of helpful info and people…just what i need!!!

i am down south so a little way to travel to get a new one up there, any idea how much they charge for fitting a vinyl? i did my last one, wasnt to difficult but not something that i really enjoyed and would prefer that its done by a prof. so you know its done well and you have some comeback if it aint. Got a few other worries before the roof new head gasket again! or do i buy a new engine something a little more interesting?

They do mobile but think they wait for a few in one area before they send a lad down. Cracking job done by them in December, ?320 all in (came to me & all new cables). Nice and dry now
As for engine I've got a mechanic so no expert but wish I had something with just a little more oooomph
