Hi, Im george, or turbo.

im looking to buy a mk1 for my fist car, so im going to the reliable little runaround rather than the full on project restoration. but obviously would like to work on it, in spare time.

im new to the whole mk1 thing, and am looking for advice and a maybe a heads up as to where i can get one of these awesome cars!

I dont know if you have found the guides on the home page on te right hand side. One for GTIs and one for cabriolets, good starting place for general info and good reference for other models as well.

As for  places to find them usual suspects, Autotrader, Pistonheads or Ebay etc.
