hello all!
time to say a 'proper' hello! names chris,21,from hastings. currently driving a nissan almera gti (dont laugh,is a fantastic car). always wanted a mk.1 gti,but thought they were a bit out of my price range at the moment.
well, this car came in as a part.ex at fiat next door to me (work for nissan). wont say how much i paid for it,as will make alot of people jelous!
has covered 177,000 miles, but has every service stamp from new,and a 4 inch thick folder of history.runs fantastically, just covered 300 miles in her this weekend and enjoyed every minute. was thinking of just selling it on,but have now decided to sell the almera, and keep the golf. anyway, enough talking, here are some pics….
when i got her on thursday, wheels were shot, paintwork was matt white.
and this was the result of a saturdays hard work:
now just got to do some general tidying, restore the badges and grille trim, sort out a small dent in the passanger door, and fit a new rear panel below the bumper.

I'll keep an eye out for you - I'm sometimes down on Sedlescombe Road.
