mk1 golf cabriolet.

hello all. new to this site and wanting advise really and any info on what this car is. iv recently bought 2 vw golf cabriolets one im keeping but the other is immaculate but its left hand drive and on greek plates after a bit of research. i phoned vw and they come back with a golf goca quarta? never heard of it.  its 1991, leather interior. electric windows, its been looked after in someones garage. not sure what its worth or anything or if its worth me getting it registered and selling or selling as is.

also how do you add photos? i seem to be struggling!

How did it end up here? Did you import it mate? I know they drive on the left in Greece so it could be a Greek original car rather than a UK one exported there. Could be either mate really. What history did you get with her?

iv been helping a mate clear out a friends place who sadly passed away, and he was a major vw fan but i never knew him. so i dont know anything about this car. just helped out and bought the lot. no documents what so ever. so im a bit stuck. dont know what it would be like to get it on british plates.

Greece is part of the EU so I think there is a pack to download on the DVLA website to get it registered. Did your friend ever live in Greece?

You've got me intruiged now :)

Agree with above stick it on eBay with clear instructions for any buyer about payment and collection as some people who buy things on eBay think if they win they get to come and haggle with you  :P  :P  :P

Hi and a warm welcome as always to the best Mk1 madhouse anywhere in the World!

Back to the red one.
Try to take some more pics and not just the stand back here's the whole car.
Get close and personal, the more visual info you give, the more we can help.
Interior, under bonnet, let your imagination run wild.

It's not like your paying per printed copy back when the car was built!

Unless your willing to give it away for silly money take your time. See if you can find anything paperwork wise relating to it. Of course if you just want shot of it send me a private message.  ;)
