hello all 1992 red clipper

hi. I have just taken ownership of a 1992 red clipper. 1.8 carb.

swapped my Lexus LS400  for it and am enjoying the cheap cost of ownership.

Ok so since i bought it i have driven 400 miles in the last  3 days

The car has the following:
Good body work
Recentish respray but not a great one
Recent roof - powered
Recnet bottom end rebuild
New fuel pump
New letcrics
New radiator

What i have done
Changed drive belt
fixed headlights for some reason the main beams had been disconnected and bodged

What needs doing
New tyres as there is a hodge podge on each corner which makes speeds of over 80 interesting

New clutch which is slipping
I will change the cambelt as i do not know when it was last done
New thermostat
Oil change
Coolant flush
New decent hoses
decent polish with eventually respray
New wheels original steelies on but i thhink lighter wheels would benefit advice would be appreciated
the interior needs a good clean
Drivers bolster in a bad way
Am considering re upholstering in red leather
Rear 3 point belts i have a morris minor solution that should work with the cabby
Rust proofing
i have a decent spare fuel fillet pipe which needs reonvated rustproofed painted and fitted as the incumbent is badly holed

Ill get some pics for you

Any advice welcome

This will be a rolling resto and i will be doing around 2000 miles a month in the cabby my budget for restoring will come out of my company car budget and the carwill be rotated with a 1972 volvo 144

I live in Edinburgh and stay in Harpenden in Herts during the week
