Hi all,

been a member on here for a year or two it would seem now (when i first found the forum)  but never contributed

Having been driving for a year now and having got some funds together i am looking into getting my first car!

One thing that has always got me is the different models of MK1s

E, C, CL, GL, GX…

E is the economical 1.1 IIRC and the GTI is well… the GTI but other than that i am unsure

Anyway, that is all for now!

Dont worry about the models too much just try and find a good one.
GTIs are normally at a premium but finding a good one more tricky.
Also some of the limited latter models worth considering, ie rivage sportline.
