Hei everybody!

Ok I have to come clean. I am here by accident, sort of. This time last week I had no intention of buying a VW, let alone a 1991 MK1 Cabriolet. In fact I was planning on buying an Alfa 33 Cloverleaf. I am a die hard Alfisti but life likes to throw a spanner in the works now and again and the 33 was in an accident before I bought it. So there I was on Friday, I needed a car and the only car for sale near me that wasn't a soulless box was the Golf I have now bought. The roof is a bit tatty and the electrics questionable but when you are used to driving Alfas then this isn't a problem :) Oh I live in exile in Norway by the way so now summer is over the convertible should prove ideal winter transport here!

Well as surprised as I am to find myself a VW owner I am glad to be here, the little Golf makes me smile when I drive it so that has got to be a good sign…….. Just promise me you won't grass me up to the Alfa club :D

Hi, welcome!

It's ok, I'm an alfa tart too! The other half and I have a black 147 Lusso (my second one). Hopefully the next one will be a Brera :) We've also had brand new golfs too so I think it just shows an appreciation for style and quality if you mix the two brands lol.

Enjoy the site.

1989 MK1 VW Golf GTi Cabriolet, 'All White Edition' - currently having a new blue roof fitted. Yes it's not white but it requires less Cif to clean :)
