Happy christmas to me

Just bought my first mark 1 after having 3 mark 2s. On route home I decided it is time to part with the mark 2 gti. Love the feel of the mrk 1, will have to do something with the brakes and tighten up the gear shift but think I've come over to the other side. Can't wait to blow off the cobs, unfortunately out of the country for a month or two so will have to drip feed myself on this forum.
Hope to c some of u on a local meet when I'm back in UK.
Also will need a new soft top if anyone can recommend.
