Hey everyone,

I'm Trin.

Just joined up to talk to other Mk1 owners and VW enthusiasts.

I've grown up around VWs, spending much of my younger years travelling to all the do's across the country with our campers and beetles.

Had a 1972 1300 beetle for my first car and now more ten years later i have a MK1 golf GTI karmann cabriolet (now i can finally afford the insurance on the beast lol)

I'm quite keen to get back into the shows and try and have some great times like i did as a kid.

I did look into the meetings in MK and spoke to one of the runners. I haven't managed to make it just yet, was going to come to the august one but couldn't in the end. i definately plan to attend soon tho :-)
I recognise a couple of the names on the website as people we had a group with when i was a kid….like malcolm.
My parents and a few other members founded the MK group probably over 20 years ago  ops:

I gather the region you come under is pretty active, so there should be plenty of meets for you to hook up with other members  8)
