Greetings from Chester

Hi Guys n' Gals,
My name is Toby and I am currently racing to get my Sportline project finished in time for this years shindig.
Its all systems go at themmoment and hopefully the engine is going in this weekend once I have tidied up the new brake lines and secured the loom away for neatness.
Going by my screen name you have no doubt worked out I own a Sportline and am putting a G60 engine into it.
What started out as a basic engine swap soon ballooned into a full on restoration and upgrade job.  I have stripped the car bare, had it re sprayed and re-build everything with either new OE or upgrade parts.  I even did the charger myself for 2 reasons 1) I love a good challenge and 2) I was fed up of poor service from supposed pro's.
As it turns out, I can work wonders with a dremmel and other bits n pieces and the end result is a screaming charger that I can't wait to get boos figures for.

Anyway, I shall keep all the other bits n pieces under wraps until the day although I expect some of you might know what I have been up to if you visit Ed38 much.

Hope everybody is tip top and that projects are coming along nicely.

Welcome along fella. Looks like you have your hands full with that project. Going to sound pretty good too. Look forward to pics of this and seeing this complete. Is your sportline red or black? What year is it? Best of luck with the rest of the build.

Thanks for the replies chaps / Rich.
My Sportline is Red and I have had it re-sprayed in teh original colour.  I'm not entirely sure why I got it sprayed as the pain was brilliant.  I wanted to get the engine bay done and it all went crazy from there.  As usual with projects, a bit of 'scope kreep' makes a guest appearance. haha.
