Greetings from an excited new owner in Shropshire!

Hi - just collected a great little number - a 1992 Rivage - she need a bit of tlc - mostly external - but runs like a dream. I need to source some parts so any help gratefullu received - particulaly re a new hood, updated brakes, and where to get her re-lacquered. Looking forward to sharing tips and experiences and seeing some of you at meets.

Welcome aboard Gabby and thanks for supporting the Club.
Hoods can be DIY fitted or you can get a company to do it.
Depends on your budget.

What are your plans with Her, just tidy up or bringing Her up to top condition?

What is actually wrong with the hood?

Cheers

Chortle

Hi - yes we plan to bring her up to top notch - but as authentic as possible. The hood material is unfortunately 'ripe' and has a couple of tears in it so we didnt think it would ne salvageable. Will post some pics at weekend. :)

Welcome Gabby, sounds like you have yourself a nice find there, and thank you for being a paid member and supporting the club so quickly

With regards to any bits you need for car please post up and i am sure people will be able to help

Chortle (who posted above) is your man for roofs and should be able to help you with any questions you have.

If you need to consider sorting roof quick but dont wana spend too much money, then please see my link below as i do have a hood, frame and 2 x headlinings for sale, but if you want to do your roof top top notch, you may decide to buy a brand new outer roof skin, and brand new headlining as well as cables, top pad kit (the padding that goes between roof outer skin and roof headlining) etc etc

here the link to my bits
