Hi and welcome.

Just look in the regional threads section and I am sure Shughy is the regional host for Ireland.

Post some pics of your car up so we can see it :-)

Hey Hamster welcome along.

Good few mk1 NI guys about. Have a look at the members map and you will see a few dotted around. Send a pm they are a friendly lot.

The show season has pretty much ended but dubshed (belfast) in april will kicj it off again in 2013.

What mk1 trip bits are you after?

Get some pics up too… we love photos of newbies cars!

Cheers Hugh.

As a club we encourage people to meet up, make new friends and share experiences and knowledge we have all had with our golfs etc , so if that's your sort of thing keep an eye on the Regional and National pages below, where there will be details of meets in and around your location. Also details of who your Regional Host is or are, feel free to contact them about meets in your area also.

Welcome fella :D , I'm from Portadown, there are a few ni guys on here, its a great site for information and advice on your Mk1.

Like Shughy said its quiet on the show front this time of year, the first big one is probably Dubshed which I think is on 7 April 2013 in the Kings Hall complex, I'm sure there will be a gathering of Mk1's there.

My New Year's resolutions are: 1. Stop making lists. B. Be more consistent. 7. Learn to count.

Lowering strut caps

Hi all. I have fitted 40mm lowering springs to my cab (pictured above with the springs fitted) but to me it still looks a bit high at the front so im thinking about lowering caps. When i fitted these springs the front does seem lower and the rear has came up a bit. Still standard at the rear by the way. I didnt want to fit the rear lowering springs as im sure the car would have sat as it was before(lower at the rear than the front) so im just looking opinions and options. Let me know what you think. Many thanks  :D
