Gooday Everybody

hi guys, a lil unsure as i'm new to all this VW business, but i've just bought a Silver Golf cab GTi on a G plate, now is this still classed as a mk1?? am loving the car lots, can see what all the fuss is about now      

i class it as a l.5 but iv had one and they are still cool and still reli a mk1 enjoy and welcome

They are still Mk 1's even tho a lot of the parts are more akin to the Mk2's it is still based on the Mk1 body and interior.  

I have had tintops and now have a cab and love them the same.  It is just a shame that the other half wont let me have one of each.

ideal, was just a lil unsure    whats the crack with the engine, looking fa toys for it, but its all very confusing as tawhich bits would fit and which dont?? lol jap cars i'm pretty clued up on, but these are a big ???? ta me

Got her about 3 wks ago now, shes been good as gold so far, just had a slight issue with the rad blowing up   nice new shiny 1 in there now   and the engine seems ta choke a lil at low revs?? not 100% sure whats causing that! apparently there is a gti tuning guy near bude where my other half lives, so will get it into him at some point ta see what he thinks

nice car m8 i hope you have as much fun with her as i do in mine, oh and if Wooders says anything negative don't take a blind bit of notice as he hates  cabby's or floppy tops as he calls them, i have suggested he sees a doctor about it
