Garages in Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire

Hiya everyone! My name's Scott and I have had my beloved Clipper for five,highly pleasurable and trouble free years,she's never let me down once! Unfortunately I left her in the clutches of a local garage for a service and to have a new cam belt fitted and now she runs like a dog! Alarm bells should've rang when the mechanic told me he'd only ever fitted one set of points in his life! I suspect the timing is out but having taken it back to said garage twice to put it right,I really don't want them anywhere near her!! So,does anyone know of any decent garages in the Beds/Herts area that know what they're doing with an '87 Golf? Cheers

Alright Brucieboy!! I'm in Southwood Rd,on Downside. It's a bit like the Bronx and quite a surprise that my lil ole Golf hasn't been vandalised to be honest! My wife's Mk IV Supra has been keyed on numerous occasions! Where in Dunstable are you then mate?

As for the meets,it's something I've been meaning to do for years but just never got around to. Would love to come to the next one though. There's one in MK soon is there?
