Formal Welcome

Been lurking and posting for a bit but I thought I would introduce myself. My very first car was a MK I Golf 1.1 and since then I have always wanted a MK I GTI and have recently acquired a Mars Red 1982 GTI.





Its currently being resprayed in Mars Red by Timski/Timmy P as it was looking a bit tired. Link for some or his work.

Then I will be making some minor mods to it. And yes it does have a Glass sunroof   which seems to put a few people off. But does not bother me that much especially as this is a solid car with a lot of history unlike some of the rotten ones on Ebay.
