Ex Mk2 nut....Mk1 convert ;)

Hi all,

Proud owner of my 6th Golf, and 1st Mk1

She is a 1.6 GTi, black, really good amount of history, solid engine…..fair bit of rust

Will be needing 1 sill, maybe two doors and 1 wing…few other pieces too im sure….then the individual touches will begin.

is it going to be a rolling resto or complete strip down?

jellybelly (lol…love the name)…not sure yet. I think id prefer a complete strip down….first time ever, but the satisfaction at the end will be awesome. Need to find somewhere to do it…double garage area near house, thinking double gazeebo over the area, and crack on….will use missus Corsa for time being

Pictures will be up soon….will show everything, rust etc….looking for advice at that point!
