Dapper clipper chappie
New to posting on here (except a really short one the other day!) and thought I'd pop in here and say hi to everyone.
I bought a lovely little clipper in December last year and have had a great first 6 months of ownership (should have done this years ago!).
The only down side I've had, which is not exactly the cars fault, is that some numpty reversed into it last week!
Not too bad tho, only a new wing and a bit of cosmetics on the bumper required to get it back to looking all dapper again!
Could you belive the insurance co. wanted to write it off just for a new wing and bumper repair!! 'Till I threw a few expletives at them!!
Anyway, off to GTI international tomorrow where I'm hoping to get a new wing. S'pose it's gonna be a bit quiet on here this weekend with most of the MK1 world going there too!!
So…I'm living in the Herts/Beds area and it would be great if anyone wants to keep me informed of any get togethers that happen….Would be great to meet up sometimes with a like minded clan.
Cheers all

I'm from Cambridge and although I have only been to one mmet so far, there is usually a meet every couple of months in the area. If you look on the regional meets forum you should find there is some local events being organised.
If I can can find the post I'll forward it on to you!

I have noticed quite a few members joining from the Herts area lately and was thinking of trying to orgainse a meet. It is quite a busy time of year tho with all of the Nationals happening.
