no worries mate toying with the idea of doing the work and then selling it

but mk1s and dodgy wiring go hand in hand

Finally found a half sensible example. It's had a replacement door fitted, and paint prep was non-existant, so it's flaking off. It's at the bodyshop now (I'm a car dealer) being sorted, and having the correct front spoiler fitted, and a set of decals. The plan is to leave it standard, but we'll see how that goes !!

Gave it a bit of a bath this morning …














Paintwork done, and correct spoiler fitted. I'm leaving the decals for a couple of days, to let the paint go off properly.

My plans to leave it standard are being threatened by the desire for better handling. Coilovers and some Lenso BSX's may be on the cards  ops:
