Bought first MK1!

Just payed the deposit on my first Mk1, gonna pick it up this week, Its a Gold 1300 Driver, weber carb, VW 14"bbs alloys, FK adjustable suspension, body is nice and solid, no rust sills are clean, engine is sweet to. The interior is a little worse for wear with the original tweed seats, but I bought two half leather porsche front seats with it which I'm gona retrim in leopard skin. Overall its a sweet car. leopard trim - are we back in the 70's??!!

My heads in the 70's but the cars a 82,83 or 84 I can't remember cus it had a personalised plate. Hmm Well Im considering the leopard skin because its got that cheesi coolness to it and its cheap to do, I would like cream leather but I'm broke now!

Nice. I like that Gold Driver that's featured in the Gold+ magazine

I think I've seen that not sure though, you seen the really clean gold one with moon eyes in PVW a few weeks ago its really nice!

sounds like a nice car you're getting James, like the others I have my doubts on the leopard print seats 8O but could work I suppose :wink:

Pickin the car up 2nite so will post some pics up tomorrow. Instead of leopard skin I was also thinking maybe desert camo which would go really well with the gold/sand colour of the car?

those kinda covered seats won't be to everybody's liking but I think it'll give it a good unique touch… if your any good with photoshop have a go.. I'd like to see how they'd look

Here it is, I'm lowering the front some more 2moz, then Im goin to put some low profiles on, take the side stripes off, the front arches and half the backs, mite flare them when i get some more money, debaged two headlight grill and debaged delocked boot. Mite do some more radical changes when I've got more money to do it. As for the I.C.E i've got 2 sets of 6x9's one on the parcel shelf one in the boot, Bazooka subwoofer tube and i'm getin another amp and a pair of 4x6's for front to go with the Sony head unit, as for interior got leather porsche seat ready to go in just need the new subframes, sweet!
