at last got my dream car!

been after a mk 1 for years wanted tin top but this came up and will be perfect for the summer! what you guys and gals think? some small issues sounds very tap tap from engine and now think gear box seal has gone so not all plain sailing :-(

cheers dont know what do with her apart from get rid of the bloody sticker on the windscreen!! single head lamps maybe? dont know any ideas?

Get rid of that.

All i would do is get her running sound, change the grille (thats what im doing) nice crosshair lamps, job done!

Nothing more look great the way they are give or take a new grille lol.

oh and a bra.

:? mine has that same tap tap noise!!! what you gunna do to get rid of that?  sometimes a 'busy' front end like yours looks good, by busy i mean a lot goin on such as the grill lip, twin head lights gti badge numberplate surrounding, especially as its so low at the back make it squat so nice!! however de badged single light conversion would look so so good too! so all in all a pretty useless post…lol but lose the sticker!!!! wand welcome to the site mate!!

My Opinon, sell and get a tintop jokes aside single headlight and lose the eyebrow, they dont look right on mk1's, apart from that you'll have a very good mk1 fella
