Anyone know my car?

Hi guys,

new to the forum but have been posting for a little while. Anyway i have bought a modified Mk1 Gti to strip and rebuild as a track car, but at some point in its life it has been a write-off.

Although i have had the car jigged for safety reasons,  and i will only be using on the track, however just out of curiosity does anyone know anything about my car?
