Another newbie

Hi all after owning a mk4, mk5 and present mk6 gti's i have finally got a mk1 its a 1991 clipper in white 3 owners from new with 85k on the clock pick it up yesterday  

Car is very solid just needs abit of paint work tidying up and i'm looking to replace afew bits and pieces already got a set of 15 inch lenso's on order but overall its in excellent condition inside and out.

Just need some sunshine to take it out now.

hi Kev i love driving it only had it 2 days but had an hour and half drive home (with the roof down ) and really enjoyed driving it was alot quicker than i'd thought it would be awell

Haven't had the pleasure yet only got it yesterday and needs taxing so cant drive it, an cant tax it till Thursday as im working!! :boohoo: good to hear though

sounds like you pair are gonna be busy.
plenty of help on here and the search function is invaluable, in helping you look out for a solution to any probs you may encounter.
Also various stickies with guides and how too's.
Just give a shout in the appropriate place.
Have a look at the regional sections for meets too, just get down and say Hi.
Marky4 you just cannot beat having the top down on a good sunny day, I allway's smile when I am in mine.
Kevcabby86 as soon as you are on the road I reckon you will love it.

it's great to support this club. Some great folks on here.
we just had a little meet, yesterday.
Well funny talk about laugh. I needed to wee a couple of times.
There is the car chat too, it's all a learning curve too, I learnt stuff yesterday, thought there was something odd on a cabby but then looked at another and it was the same, just the way VW had changed things.
