Another Newbie

Hi all thought I would sell hello

I'm currently selling my Elise and looking hard for a nice Mk1 Gti in black preferably, the colour I always wanted as a kid.  This is my first VW and really looking forward to go going old school with a proper classic.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Love old cars and enjoy getting my hands dirty so should be really enjoyable.

The decision to sell the Lotus didn't take long sick to death of it especially with winter on its way, I don't find it a nice place to be anymore on a cold winters morning, plus with a baby on the way the Lotus isn't quite right anymore, spent about 10k on it in the past 12 months having a civic type r engine fitted with the intention of keeping it forever but I get easily bored and have got bored.

Always wanted a Golf so I thought why the hell not  Cant stand your run of the mill everyday cars they bore me to death I like quirky, intresting, rare or something you just don't see everyday.

these cars are certainly in a catagory of their, always wanted one and when i got one 7 months back wished i'd done it sooner love it to bits, welcome to the site hope you find one :wink:
