Another newbie

Hi all,
Just joined the mk1 gang after owning lots of mk4's last one being a 25th Anniversary model.
Anyway i saw the light and bought a 1982 series 2 Golf GTI,hope to pick your brains on a few things over the coming months.quick piccy of my car below.

not sure tbh was like that when i bought it.
It needs lifting up tbh as it's way to bouncy i didn't get the spanners to adjust the coilovers so iv'e had to order some new ones.
