Another newb!

Hi dudes

I've owned my '81 mars red GTI with a TDI conversion for about 3 years now and thought it was about time I got involved with the Forum….

I got all of about 3 months into ownership when the MOT fella decided it shouldn't be driven any more, long story but it was a total heap - devastated considering I had actually had a fair look over the car. Lesson learnt…always take a screwdriver and prod around underneath, don't just touch and admire!!!

Anyway, I will hopefully get a project thread of some sort going as hopefully it will make an enjoyable read and I will no doubt need to fall back on you guys for a ton of help which will be very much appreciated!

Now, I need to go put a post in the parts wanted section….tons of parts needed.

The project continues (…to empty my wallet!) Cheers guys!!
