Evening.

Recently picked up an 87 GTi Cab that I am slowly in the process of making perfect again, although to be fair, it was pretty nice anyway.

Had a mk2 GTi a few years back and loved it, since then have had a Civic Type-R, a 72 Fastback (for a week - a bit too much of a change!) and now back to another Golf.

Forgotten how much fun an older car can be.

Car currently in VW Addictions, Southport, getting tidied up (hunting for a new /used manifold atm!), new hood hopefully within the next 2 weeks - any suggestions as to a fairly local supplier in Merseyside would be great.

mines 87 as well looks like yours is a quartet, last model b4 the big heavy bumper thing happened in 88

once the roofs sorted itll look sweet, wheels are original too.

which manifold you need  as i have both spare at the moment
and i live in Bolton not to far from you
there is a place in Birkenhead that replaces roofs should cost about
300ish fitted.
there are some companies that will come to you to fit check the web.
