Advice Karman

HI
I am looking to buy my first MK1 Golf. It is a1982 GL Auto Karman/Cabriolet.
it has a fsh and only 2 owners from new, 89000 miles, it has recently had a new hood.
Anything i should look out for? what would be a reasonable price to pay?
any advice appreiciated

as already said buyers guide is great, I used that one. Would also check when
             cambelt/tensioner
             top mounts and dampers
             radiator
             fuel filler neck (all from recpts)
             
nothing to expensive there if you can DIY but give you good points to negotiate over.

I bought my cabrio this year and its been great fun, can whole heartidly recommend. You will have some things that need attention but parts are cheap and advice is plentiful, especially from this site.

Im still shocked my cabby can withstand a blasting of 5mins from the steamer at work……………..yet we have a light shower and the fooker leaks
