A Big Hello to you All

Hello!
I bought a 1983 Golf GTI 1.8 just over a week ago! My first VW too!
Was very pleased with it until it broke down a couple of nights ago! Nothing too serious i hope!
I'm based in Horsham, West Sussex at the mo.
The car's done 94,000 and is in pretty good condition, apart from the engine that now won't start!  :wink:

Welcome liam, My sister lives in horsham so will keep an eye out for you next time I come down to see her….she drives a mk4 GTI in met dark blue with full vortex kit on it if you see it about.
hope you get it fixed soon

Hey, thanks, managed to fix it last night. The dizzy needed adjusting along with new cap and rotor arm.
I shall keep an eye out for the vortex mk4!

Superb Paint job - welldone!    

its great init! I'm gonna go for the harliquin paint job, but couldn't afford the other colours just yet! Gonna do a panel a month!  

Serioulsy, haven't touch the paint work yet, apart from the wash and t cut it!
Bought it for ?450 so don't mind spending a bit tidying it up.
Hopefully getting a full alpine white re spray at some point in the not to distant future!
