Evening folks,
Hopefully someone can assist with a niggle that has appeared on my mk1 Caddy Sport in the last few days. On two separate days the engine temp warning has flashed for a few seconds along with the rev counter fluttering at the same time. Both occasions were when the engine temp was at its usual running temp and I was driving through town at 20-25mph. No other symptoms were apparent and the car drove perfectly for the rest of the journey.
Does anyone know what this might be?

Have you done any engine work recently??
The brown earth wire on the rocker cover may have been missed off if so. It may be dangling down behind the engine.
Have a read of this too, it may help….

Thanks. The only work I've done recently was to remove the grill to which also involved disconnecting all head lights. I did notice one of the brown wires was prone to slipping off of its connector. I'll have to double check that too.
