York Meet

Just a few pics from todays Northern Meet at York. Not all MK1's but some interesting cars to view….












The pics show what a dark day it was but it was good to meet people and see a cluster of dubs together.

The majority of people travelled South from Tees,Tyne & Wear. Disappointing turnout from Yorkshire dubbers though.  

Sorry I missed it! My head gasket went on Thurs, so it's off road for repair. Some nice cars there. Typical weather!  :wink:

Aye the weather was poor but it didn't dampen the spirits too much. We found a nearby pub to shelter from the rain   :wink:

Yeah the gold one was nice and featured some great retro touches. Check out the door 'cardpets'…..

BTW sorry to hear about the head gasket prob. Hope you get it fixed and ready for the next meet.

I like the look of the gold mk1 aswell.  8) Mine'll be fine, but even if I need donor engine parts, there's a caddy with an identical engine waiting for me down the road. It'll be running by the weekend I think - doing other service stuff while the bonnet's up, might aswell! Next is the bodywork  8O Glad you enjoyed the meet, and the pub.  :wink:
