VW Festival, 19th August '07 , near Leeds.

VW Festival is a Water and Aircooled event at the surroundings of Harewood House near Leeds. This is the 3rd year running and if you buy your tickets online you save your self some money. Club Stands are FREE and Camping is availeble, check website for details.

I bought tickets for the first vw festival but never went cause my car was in the bodyshop!

I didn't have a car to go in last year so…

I'll definitely be there this year! I'll be travelling up from Somerset if anyone is coming past me or I'll be passing them maybe we could convoy?

You could be right, depends how lazy I feel would LOVE to be on a stand of some sort if anyone is organising one? I'm sure I can get my car looking show worthy by then

i'm definately going, i've been the past 2 years and its getting bigger year by year. Hmm, i guess this year will test that statement…

i'd love to be involved in a club stand, just to be parked up with a load of Mk1's would be amazing…
thing is, i am neither a VW golf Mk1 owners club member (doh!) nor is my ride anywhere near show condition, maybe in the rat look catagory???

I'm an unlikely/maybe for this show (at the moment), so its better that someone else take charge of the club stand stuff, etc.

Just got my tickets today, not going in the mk1 though as i've only just started it, i'm gonna chuck my caravan on the back of the passat and go up on saturday morning so we can have a few tinnies the night before and make a weekend of it :y:

I've read on the vw festival website that there is stuff going on on saturday night aswell

I will defo be off - it will depend on the weather if I go over for the Saturday night's camping.
