Ultimate Dubs

Next year it will be at……..

Telford International Centre on 10th and 11th March 2007.

An inside stand will take 5 display cars and they will need to be of high quality as they and the stand itself will be judged as part of the show and shine & best club stand.

Can I ask for any owners who would like to take part in this show which is in its 2nd year. I would like to put my cabby up for a place but I'm flexible in that respect.

I would liken this show to that of Edition 38 in that it brings high class, and I do mean high class, cars from the continent and all over Britain.

PM me with your car details and photos. Modified or standard but a selection of the best would be good.

I'm doing this early as we need to be inside and it was freezing last year.
Lets get organised and book early.

I'm also looking for a mint, original (non GTI) MK1 Golf to go in a Special Display at Ultimate.

The Display will be celebrating the MK1 Family, so the MK1 will be lined up against a MK1 Polo, Passat, Derby, Scirocco, Jetta.

The earlier the Golf,  the better.

WELL I DID ASK A WHILE AGO BUT YOU LOT DIDN'T SHOW ANY INTEREST!!!!

The inside stalls have now GONE so if we want an outside one then we will have to act fast (er).

Do you, the members, want a stand at this show? Last year it was a high quality production with good prizes…. but it was freezing outside!

Members who wish to display their cars inside can still do so on the 'Retro' row, thus ensuring a warm day but the rest will have to be outside.

This is the last time that I am going to ask. I am prepared to organise the club stand but need to know if anyone is actually going to be there.

Sorry mate, my cars aren't "gleaming" so best place would be outside for mine.

only place mine's good enough is the visitor's carpark

Mines not show standard, I'm joining the mk1 line up in the car park…..anyone fancy a convoy down to the Ironbridge on the Saturday night? :mrgreen:

just make sure nobody mentions the chrisp packet paint effect on my Mk1 or she'll get upset and won't start!

Mine?!!, you must be having a laugh :lmao:, I meant I was parking in the designated mk1 section of the car park thats been organised, not the club stand…….there are plenty of mk1's that are loads better than mine, but if you dont get all the spaces taken by March then I'll help out

Hi Guys

As Dan said all the Indoor Stands are now booked up due to the amount of interest, but I have reserved an Outside Stand for the club (space for 6 cars)

Also If anyone has a top show quality car, then there is still space within the halls either in the main Show & Shine or the MK1 Retro / Stock Display.
Plus we also have a Rat & Retro Display outside for vehicles of any condition.   If interested in any of these displays then just visit www.ultimate-dubs.co.uk for further info.

We are also organising a MK1 Golf Only Parking area, again visit the website for further info.

With the above displays we are hoping to get together a large number of MK1 Golf's at Ultimate Dubs, so roll on 2007!!

errr… I might have a slight problem attending

 ops: sort of booked the Mk1 into my mates to get sprayed at the end of Feb…. I'll find out how long he's going to be with it and let you know ASAP

Does this mean I'm on the list, I only vaguely suggested mine should be outside, not inside!!! The engine bay will be gleaming but not much else on the car!!!!!! Also, what times are the cars supposed to be there? I'll be coming for the day only.
