THE FINAL GAYDON POST!

Ok, Gaydon 2006 is almost upon us! Here is the final order of events;

Saturday

10am-12pm - AGM. Please only arrive at 10am if you're coming to the AGM as we'll probably be inside in meeting room so you'd be outside on your own! All are welcome to the AGM though.

12pm-6pm - Let the Show Begin!! There will be 'It's a Knockout' style games, F1 style pit stop/wheel change and Golf push competitions plus other games inside and outside a Golf! Prizes for the winners :wink:

6pm+ All depart but campers stay for an evening of BBQ's (bring your own!) music by resident DJ Everton (with some cool 80's tunes mixed in for good measure!) and I bet we can't stop walt singing around the camp fire! PLEASE NOTE if you're arriving only on Saturday evening for camping, the gates are locked at 11.30pm.

Sunday

Early - Campers wake up wishing they'd bought breakfast with them

10am-4pm - The Show begins again! - Games to re-run again for those that weren't present Saturday or just fancy another bash.

If you don't know where to go, British Motor Museum | Home

Just off Junction 12 of M40 and it's well signposted.

We will also be having the following traders at the show for the weekend;

Crazyquiffs MK1 Golf Emporium. http://www.golfmk1.co.uk/ with all his second hand and new MK1 parts

and;

Justmatz JustMatz - custom car mats that YOU design with their range of (mats yes!) plus other MK1 tintop and cabby parts.

I would suggest if there's something you know 100% you need, give them both a shout first and I'm sure they'd be happy to ensure they have the stock for you. :wink:

I was under the impression it was a 1 day event on Sunday, but with camping Saturday night to ease travel issues and for a bit of fun. If its a 2 day event, this possibly means I could come to Gaydon on Saturday, then go to VW NW (Tatton Park) on Sunday. Or have I got this totally wrong???

Plenty of parking for non-golfs in the main car parks… Park up and walk back!

Cheers,

Well it was very quiet there today, but we saw some great cars (very high cabby to tintop ratio!) and met some lovely people. Wish VWNW wasn't tomorrow or we could have stayed. :(
