My Gaydon Thanks yous!!

Just got on PC for first time since the weekend.

First off a BIG thank you to EVERYONE who braved the elements and paid a visit to Gaydon this weekend. Yep, it was a tad wet, especially yesterday but I think everyone who came had a cracking time.

I hope this sets the scene for future Gaydon meets and I will be looking at a larger and more wind resistant marquee next year!  I can't stress enough what a great time was had on Saturday and the night time. Real relaxed, fun time - let the hair down etc. Top night! :y:

Dj Ev - Many thanks for your tunes Saturday night. There wasn't a record you didn't have and me and my partner enjoyed dancing like no one was watching.   Like I said, if you keep playing the tunes, we'll keep dancing!! 8)

Drew, committee and all who helped with the weekend - Many thanks for your time, help leading up to and at the event and keeping 'the dream alive!'

I hope that come Gaydon 2007 we'll have a bigger membership, more regional involvment and a little, just a little sunshine!

Thanks again to all!

Regards
Andy

By the way, can the group who were camping at the top of the camping area (who had a late arrival due to MK1 breaking down! ) send me a PM - sorry, I completely forgot your user name

Cheers

nice to finally meet you Andy  :y:

enjoyed sunday regardless of the weather and the smaller turnout of Mk1's than expected, was still worth the trip

Ok, I'd like to add my thanks to Drew, Andy and Dj-Ev.  Had a cracking weekend despite the weather.  Had never been to anything like this before and it was great to meet such a friendly bunch.

Gotta say thanks to Mark (rov716y) who helped put up our tent in the slightly windy conditions ;-)
