 After several years of trying, and many years since Moody become the
first 9 second VW in the UK, with a 9.96 @ 136mph, 1/4 mile action
returns to Volksfest on Sunday 30th July, in the form of a Run What Ya
Brung and demo racing throughout the day. You will be able to take part
in the action for a one off signing on fee of ?15. That's for the whole
day, not just one or two runs. All you need is your driving licence and
and the desire to have some serious fun. It does not matter how fast or
slow your car is. It's a great place to get to grips with driving on a
dragstrip. North Weald is not as intimidating as Santa Pod, yet still
has experienced marshalls and crew, as well as accurate timing
equipment. If you haven't done it before, give it a try. The adrenaline
is addictive, even in a relatively slow car. Go on… see how much fun
you can cram in to a single day.

Don't forget your driving licence - NO LICENCE = NO RUN !!!
