Where abouts is gaydon? Is it near Coventry.

Im gonna come down, how does it work? Do I have to buy a spot where I can put a tent or somethin'?

Its near Coventry. Full details of the 2008 annual meet will be announced nearer the time.

Last meet (this year) there was camping overnight on Saturday evening, a disco in the evening, then the show proper was on Sunday. Entry was free for members and non-members could buy membership on the gate. It wasn't a large show so while you had to pre-book, you didn't really need to - there was excess space. Camping was at one end of the field and then there was a gap in the middle and the show area (inc marquee and disco) was at the other end of the field.

2006 i came down in an astra and camped and 2007 was in my mk1 and hopefully in 2008 my mk1 will all be one colour!!

Are there any dates lined up for 2008

Dates have not been released as of yet,
We will be holding it over a weekend in July, August, September.
We will endeavour not to clash with another show, although sometime this cannot be avoided.
It should be held centrally in the country, like  Gaydon in Coventry.

Just keep an eye open as shows will become "sticky" approx 3 month before the event.

Travelodge at Warwick services I think? Definitly one at Cherwell Valley services (between Bicester and Banbury)

Otherwise Banbury is only 10 - 15 mins away - a few small hotels and guesthouses from memory!

have been to autoitalia at gaydon, where you could buy track time on the test track out back…
will this be possible at mk1 show??
