club stands applications will be online shortly for members to download any quieries contact the number above. entry for club stands is from 8:00 till 9:00 no later then 9:30 ?3:00 per person per car

show & shine event catergories best paint , best wheels and best v.a.g of the show with full trophey and photo presentation

public entry is @ 10:00am ?3.00 per person we will have full fairground attractions aswell as sum adult and kids entertainment from bungee run to sumo suits and from face painting to ballon making aswell as the vws on display aswell as tradestands from sum top companys in the northeast and from around the country .there will be a bar with full live entertainment from sum top name djs in the north east and a db drag sound off .

Would anybody like to organise a stand ? Is there a group of people in the area that would attend in their Mk1`s. Ive left the number of the organisers. We need 6 cars to warrant holding a club stand. Please contact me if any one is interested.

definitely going so long as work dont spring any nasty suprises on me. Should be able to confirm tomorrow (monday) evening!

well to be honest for a fledgling event it wasnt too bad, a few minor hiccups with the pa system although whichever mic the guy went to use it suddenly broke, (including the DJ's lol). Just a shame it wasnt better advertised. Dubious judging in the show n shine though, E38 organiser judging and suprise suprise his wife takes best MK2 Hmmmmmm? Photos to follow later!

The weather made it today and I've got a few pics but didn't take many of Mk1's. There was a tidy Campain for sale in the show and shine and one or two other interesting cars too. Not bad for a first show. WIll be interesting to see how it grows in the coming years

To be honest the campaign should have taken the mk1 crown. No rust good interior and original wheels, and the paint was good too. compared to the winner with his nackered drivers seat and rust scabs down the offside sill think it must have been the new Ronal turbos that got the E38 crews attention lol

Tidy and original (ish) but like you say one could be a bit cynical about the judge being the partner of the winner  :posh:

There really should be rules made for no judging by family members, but 'spose it would still happen with close friends scratching backs   .

Yup thats the one! ok it was clean but comeon lets get some fair judging going on here!

Plus when Julian pulls the guy who won best MK1 to one side and tells him to fill another form out you know sommets up!
