Dubaid 3 - Charlton Park nr Malmesbury, Wiltshire. Clubstand booked Sat 16th March

DUBAID is back for the 3rd year, I went along last year and it looks a really good up and coming event all for charity.

I'm looking at putting on a clubstand this year. It will be just for Saturday 16th Mar. I'm just gauging interest as the people organising the event are asking for a £3 deposit per car that is on display (this will be deducted from your ticket price) - so the earlier we can get numbers up the better really save this being a last minute pain!!

There will be the usual club stand - bbq, beer, gazebo etc As this is still early days gonna aim for 10 cars, but theres always room for more Cheers, Scott

This year we're proud to announce that the main charity we will be raising money for is Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The money raised will help towards much-needed refurbishments and redevelopment to the hospital. When you go to a VW show, the kids are a big part of the family-friendly experience (and let's not forget, they are the future of the scene!). Whether they're your kids, family members or just kids of friends or club members, isn't it good to know there's a place like Great Ormond St Hospital that's there to help when it's really needed.

I wouldnt mind putting the jetta on the stand here as its a local show to me, if you can accomidate a newbie to the stand?

I've even got the car in the garage as we speak trying to get her running again so that I can make it.

Had to jump start the car last night to drive down her down to the garage and then with the indicators deciding to pack up as well !!

Hey sorry for being distant been really busy the last week or so

Ive got the clubstand booked and paid for, so all 10 spaces are reserved for us

BBQ's are allowed so ill see about taking my gas one so remember your burgers, rolls and beer.

Also anyone got a decent size gazebo they could bring ??

Sorry can't help with a gazebo as ours fell apart last year on a booze filled camping trip, happy to pitch in and bring some food and beer though !

What time are you planning on arriving / setting up ??

What we normally do is meet before hand and all drive in together. Ill get on google maps tonight and look for a pub car park or something local where we can meet and get back with a time 

There's a Brewers Fayre/Premier Inn in Chippenham (five mins from the M4) which is opposite a large Morrisons if you need to stock up on food/drink before you get to Malmesbury. Its then approx a 20/25min drive to Charlton Park - 11 miles.

yea just had a look at google maps, its only 4 mins from motorway, shall we just say meet Morrison's car park ??
