Think I'll pay the extra ?fiver next year and go on Friday as it will be a bit quieter? Or show a car and get free passes.
Yes shame MK1 stand wasn't a bit bigger so more cars could be shown. Think there was 5 MK1s, 3 on stand, the white custom jobbie on the Maguires polish stand and last years maguires Mars Red one was parked in the the middle of one of the entry/exit doors.
Other 80s MK1 competitors there;
Well done to the exhibition team for all their effort

Some BIG signs as to which hall you are in would be useful, and thats before I start about the abysmal lighting, poor orangy/yellowy lights in a centre designed to show things?

Also was not inpressed with paying ?4 for a "lardy dar" hot dog that would usually cost ?1.50! I hate captive audiances, people know they can rip you off cos your options are limited.

Thanks for all coming guys! The Show is an excellent one. Glad you all enjoyed it!
Unfortunately the stand is allocated to us and then we find the cars to fit the space. We have to apply months and months in advance and we're lucky in all honesty to get the space we do, as there is always a waiting list. We will be looking to ask for a bigger space next year, but there is a theme each year which we try and stick to, and we try and stick to having 'show' cars in the loosest term on the stand. Its not a case of find 10 cars and stick them on Its also very difficult to find people who can get their car there on the thursday and pick up on the sunday - work comittments and travel can make it hard. We struggled to get 4 cars this year!
Hope next year is bigger and better. 8)
