Bristol volksfest show 5/7 june

Hi everyboby   Im going down to this show in june  :wink: dose anybody fancy it? Or get a meet sorted that would be real good    Its a real family event lots of fun to be had by all ive been now for the last 4 years :wink:

at the moment the club does not have an events manager, i do not think the club has organised a club stand so if a few people are interested then a volunteer to arrange a stand would be great.

does any one know whether there are traders there selling and if ther are any bargains to be had as looking at getting some new wheels  

there are bargains to be had, have had a couple myself over past couple of years, will be there on sunday too

Hey I'm going up on the Sat for the day as I can't make it Sun. Is there anything going on Sat?

This is my first time, so i couldnt tell you what days the better day

I may go sat and sun and camp now with weather looking so nice.

Would all the members that are going up on the sunday like to try and meet in a certain spot?? i know we havnt got a stand, and its probably tricky to negotiate meeting at an event like this with no stand to head to
but just thought i would suggest it.

Any of you that are going to VOLKSFEST BRISTOL on sunday fancy meeting up and driving down together?

I am meeting some other friends with DUB's at Gordano Services at about 9.30/10.00 on sunday morning then it is only a couple of mins drive down the road to wraxall

Thought it could be a nice way to meet some new faces before hand, and also mean we could get a group of mk1's together

Just added a post to the General forum asking if anyone is going to the Volksfest before i found this post!

I am hoping to go on Sunday, the cab is nowhere near ready so i'll be in the BMW (it has my B18 DUB plate on until the cab is ready ).

I would like to meet any of you Bristol guys and gals if you are there on Sunday. Keep an eye out for the massive bloke (i'm 6'7") wandering round with the slightly disinterested looking wife  :wink:

From the sound of it there is no club stand but is anyone displaying their car?
