Well i got my "FREE" pass in (at UDs) so my car will be in the "OLD"(retro) display. free camping too. Bargain! aiming to arrive about 1pm saturday to kick off the party.

I'll hopefully be there in mine and for camping too. I emailed the organisers yesterday to see if they wanted mine on any stand and just waiting to hear back now. If not I shall just park up with everyone else!

Yep, should be there too. We're going to have a club stand, and that I'm the liason for it. So just keep posting and let us know if you're definitely or maybe going to be there, I'll sort it out so long as there's around 5 or more cars.

Okay, I've contacted All Types and obtained the form for the club stand. Hairyarse - shall I just go ahead and fill it in and send it off? They're asking how many cars we will put on the display (max 20), I'm going to guess at 10 if that's ok?

 Can everyone indicate if they're interested in this show, saying definite/maybe. They want us on the club stand by 9am Sunday, but there's overnight camping Saturday evening and the gates open 12pm.

Its at Bodelwyddan Castle, Bodelwyddan, near Rhyl, North Wales. Lovely location, its a static show with plenty of trade stands, etc.

I'd say its around 50/50 mix of air cooled and water cooled. Last year's show was a washout! Hopefully this years will be blessed with better weather.

If you want a club display pass, please forward me your forum name, real name, address and mobile number and I'll pop one in the post once I receive them. If you want on the club stand, you'd need to be there around 9am!

I haven't heard back from the organisers about my interest in a stand place, so if there's still a place on the club stand I'll more than happily fill a spot and support the Club!?

I might do the camping thingy, though I may just opt for the comfort of my own bed and arrive early on Sunday  :mrgreen:

Great to hear from you again!!! It would be good to try and arrange for 8valverpaul's car to be there too, its just like yours except 1 year younger (Campaign). So people can do a side-by-side comparison. If so then there's going to be 3 black Mk1 GTIs!
